I am not a business or institution. May I place orders through the Puget Sound Food Hub?

Unfortunately no. We suggest that individuals and households shop at their local farmers market, subscribe to a CSA program, or visit a farm stand. Puget Sound Fresh is a good resource for individuals looking for ways to eat local.

When and where does the Food Hub deliver?

Delivery is available on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout Greater Seattle,  Skagit County, and Whatcom County.

On Tuesdays and Fridays customers in Skagit, Whatcom, Island and San Juan Counties may pick up orders at the PSFH Distribution Warehouse in Mount Vernon, WA.

I only purchase food produced without GMO’s, harmful chemicals or unnecessary antibiotics. How can I learn more about a farm’s growing practices?

Only local Washington farms and ranches that can legally sell their raw and value added agricultural products commercially are eligible to sell through the Puget Sound Food Hub. While many producers carry USDA Organic or other third party certifications, buyers are encouraged to learn about each farm’s production methods by reading the seller profiles online or contacting them directly. We have developed a Purchasing Guide to assist buyers in making informed purchasing decisions.

What should I do if I’m not happy with my order?

Buyers must notify the Puget Sound Food Hub Manager at info@pugetsoundfoodhub.com within 24 hours of delivery should any part of an order be incomplete or damaged. Buyers must report concerns or complaints immediately, and include a photo of the product in the original packaging, to ensure issues can be resolved and invoices can be adjusted with the producer.

I have payment /accounting issues that I need help resolving.

I’m looking for a specific farm or product.

I’m not sure if my order went through.  What should I do?

First check your SPAM folder to see if your confirmation email was incorrectly identified as SPAM. If you can’t find it, please contact the Manager at info@pugetsoundfoodhub.com to assist you.

What about food safety?

The Puget Sound Food Hub is committed to food safety and managing risk by developing Standard Operating Procedures, requiring all hub aggregation sites and distribution partners to create and comply with Hazardous Access Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans, and requiring everyone along the Food Hub supply chain to carry appropriate licenses and product liability insurance coverage for commercial and institutional markets.
