Italian Parsley - Hedlin Farm, La Conner, WA - Great flavor and pleasant texture, sweeter and less stringy than the curly stuff! Try making a chimicurri, tabbouleh, or use as a garnish on just about any dish.

Zucchini - Hedlin’s Family Farm, La Conner, WA - Summer’s favorite squash is here! Whether grilled, sautéed, or baked into muffins, zucchini is a versatile veggie that shines in both savory and sweet dishes.

Cherry Tomatoes - Mejia Romero Farm, Burlington, WA OR Osprey Hill Farm, Acme, WA - Juicy, sweet, and thin-skinned, these little tomatoes get their namesake from the fruit, thanks to being the same size and shape.

Carrots - Ralph’s Greenhouse, Mount Vernon, WA - Crisp, sweet, and full of summer flavor, these freshly pulled carrots are great for snacking, roasting, or adding a pop of color to your favorite dishes.

Red Beets - Spring Time Farm, Everson, WA - These sweet, earthy red beets are perfect for roasting, pickling, or grating raw into salads. Bonus: the beet greens are also edible and packed with nutrients!

Red Gem Lettuce - Spring Time Farm, Everson, WA - Compact red gems, pink and yellow heart, superb crunch — what’s not to love?! Great both raw and cooked, the greens provide a refreshingly mild, sweet, and vegetal flavor. Toss in a salad, use as a bed for meat and seafood, or try subbing the leaves for bread in wraps, tacos, or burgers.

Fennel - The Crows Farm, Mount Vernon, WA - A farmer’s favorite, this veggie has a very mild anise flavor. The entire thing can be eaten raw, sauteed, roasted, or in soups. Thinly slice the bulb and marinate in a vinaigrette before tossing in a salad, sauté it for a pasta accompaniment, or roast as wedges as a side dish. Don’t toss the tops — chop ‘em up for an aromatic garnish!

Celery - Westwind Organics, Carnation, WA - Most commonly used in salads, cooked in soups and stews, or juiced, this mild and crisp veggie can do it all!
